Who should take this assessment?
We recommend this assessment be taken by the person who is closest to the decisions around what the website looks like, what the information architecture is, what content gets published or archived, how the design system is managed, and what metrics are monitored and why. Sometimes they are the person driving these decisions, sometimes they are the person facilitating these decisions. Depending on the company, this person can be a Head of Marketing, Head of Digital Marketing, Head of Content, or similar.
Best suited for organisations that:
have stable revenue
have websites with 50+ pages
have marketing teams of 3+ people, one of whom is responsible of managing content
have a technical team that supports their website development, which can be either internal or external
The more mature the organisation, and the more complex the website you're auditing through this assessment, the more insights you can gain through it. This doesn't mean a smaller company or an up-and-coming startup can't gain useful insights, but they may need to filter the recommendations through the filter of their own experience and context.
